AbstractThis study examined the effect of high-performance, low-emissivity coated window glazing on summer and winter energy usage in a heating climate region of Canada. The testing was done using two identical houses with simulated occupancies - a test house and a reference house. The study was done to quantify the effect of low-emissivity coated glass and to compare field measurements to computer simulation results.
