AbstractThe heating system operates in combination with the building enclosure, that is, the walls, windows, doors, floor and ceiling, to provide thermal conditions inside a building differing from those outside during the heating season. Thus the degree to which these inside conditions are "comfortable" depends on both the performance of the heating system and the thermal characteristics of the building.
