AbstractThe steady temperature regime under a wedge-shaped plate on a semi-infinite solid is obtained by the substituion of coordinates which reduce the Laplace equation to the two-dimensional form. The temperature regime under polygonal areas then follows directly from superposition, which can be carried out graphically.
