AbstractIn this paper, the results of investigating the thermal coupling effects and the interaction between the spacer bar and the window sash/frame material of a number of different spacer bar designs and frame material are summarized. The same spacer bars reported in the earlier study are included in this paper. Framing materials (wood, vinyl, aluminum and glass fiber) were used to study the combined effect of spacer bar design and frame material on the overall window performance.
