AbstractThe investigation described herein are concerned with the water absorption properties of a number of clay and shale building bricks, and are a part of current studies by the Division of the physical properties of masonry materials used in Canada. All work in this field by the Division is done in close association with the staff of the Mines Branch, Department of Mines and Technical Surveys.
