AbstractHagan and Ross reviewed the procedures of ASTM standards used to measure dimensional stability of roofing components. In presenting the lab procedures, the inconsistency has been pointed out for the assessment of this physical property between insulation and membranes. Moreover, the article clearly tabulated the significant distinctions in the sample size, exposure conditions and time, dimensions measured and tolerance of linear change percent specified by these standards.
