AbstractThis report is the fifth of a series of DBR Internal Reports describing the results of loading tests on trussed roof construction. This report describes the results of these tests which were carried out on spans of 28 ft. Further tests have been undertaken to develop designs for 3/12 slope trusses and to modify the existing designs of 4/12 and 5/12 slope trusses for those areas with 30- and 40-psf design roof loads. In addition, several tests were carried out to investigate the performance of cantilevered trusses.
