AbstractA podded propeller base model was designed using a marine propeller research and design software package, PROPELLA. This model was a base for a variation of other podded propellers for a ?Synthetic Analysis of Podded Propeller? project funded by the NSERC-NRC Partnership Research Programme. This report describes the detailed geometry of the propeller, followed by a numerical prediction on hydrodynamic characteristics at the design stage, in terms of a recently co-authored paper.
