AbstractThe paper describes a non-topographical application of photogrammetry for the determination of deformations of structures. Two methods are discussed, a single-camera method and a two-camera method. In cases where only deflections in one plane are to be measured a single-camera method can be used. If deformations in three dimensions are required a two-camera method must be applied. The advantages and disadvantages of photogrammetric methods are outlined. The accuracy of photogrammetric measurements are discussed and several examples of application are given.
