AbstractTests were carried out to determine the fire resistance of circular hollow steel columns filled with steel-fibre reinforced concrete. The results of six full-scale fire resistance tests are described in this report. The main study variables were the column dimensions and load intensity. These studies were conducted as part of a research program aimed at developing simple design equations capable of predicting the fire resistance of concrete-filled hollow steel columns.
