AbstractThe Hedvall effect has been applied to systems of interest in cement chemistry. They included CaO, Ca(OH)[2], 3CaO.SiO[ 2] beta2CaO.SiO[2]. and hydrated 3CaO.SiO[2]. Results show it to be a new tool for purposes of estimation, reactivity and mechanism.
