AbstractThis paper presents results of a two-year energy analysis of 28 low-energy houses. The space heating, domestic hot water heating, and interior electrical consumptions were measured individually on a monthly basis. Ventilation rates were monitored and occupant-related inputs were documented using a questionnaire. These data are compared with values calculated using HOTCAN 2.0, a microcomputer-based residential energy-analysis program.
