AbstractHuman brain samples are used for an investigation of three spectra similarities that are useful within machine learning techniques such as supervised nearest neighbour approaches. Such bioinformatic pattern recognition of biological data leads to anMS/MS based methodology to both potentially increase peptide identification and to identify post-translational modifications without theoretical database search.
