AbstractThe EPR spectra of phosphonyl radicals, (RO) 2Ṗ=O, which are characterized by a well-spaced (∼700 G) doublet, show an impressive E-A polarization when generated by photolysis of a 20% (v/v) solution of a dialkyl phosphite in di-tert-butyl peroxide.
