AbstractThis report deals with the performance evaluation and ranking of one particular offshore evacuation system, the conventional twin fall davit deployment system. The davit system is used to deploy a conventional Totally Enclosed Motor Propelled Survival Craft, or TEMPSC, from a generic FPSO model. The experiments were conducted at the Institute for Marine Dynamics (IMD), in St. John's, in the Ocean Engineering Basin during the months of February and March 2000.
