AbstractThis paper presents recent developments, potential problems and some solutions associated with the x-ray diffraction analysis of nanoparticles. A number of different nanocrystalline powders were analysed for size characteristics using a number of different techniques. They were commercial CeO2 and laboratory synthesised LiMn2O4 and alumina materials.
