AbstractThe study involved metal suppliers, users and research organizations. The first group of metals were selected for exposure in 1953 and were subsequently set out at eight outdoor sites situated across Canada. In addition to the exposure of architectural metals, a number of different metal and organic coatings applied to steel were also included. This report describes the 10-year performance at the different sites of two magnesium alloys.
