AbstractThe National Research Council's Institute for Research in Construction (IRC) is Canada's leading construction research agency. IRC conducts research in four principal fields: Building Envelope and Structure, Indoor Environment, Fire Risk Management, and Urban Infrastructure Rehabilitation. The Institute also plays a leading role in building code development and fosters innovation through its product evaluation service.
