AbstractA 5-cm waveguide bridge circuit was used to measure the relative gain of a horn-reflector antenna in use at the Algonquin Radio Observatory. The absolute gain had been previously determined with a probably error of ±1%, and this latest test was devised to monitor the long-term stability of the antenna response. The equipment used, the method of measurement, and the results of the initial measurement are discussed in some detail.
