AbstractThe architect relies on three types of media to transfer the information required for the construction of a building. These are: written (specifications, etc.), graphic ( presentation and working drawings) and numeric (quantities, costs, etc.). This note focuses on the graphic. It describes a variety of techniques which can be used for increasing productivity including the use of standard details, photo drafting, overlay drafting and computer-aided drafting.
