AbstractIn partial fulfillment of this need and as part of the program of the Associate Committtee on Corrrosion Research and Prevention, established by the National Research Council in 1950 to stimulate and coordinate corrosion research in Canada, a number of metals were selected for testing. They were exposed at eight outdoor sites across Canada. The over-all project included several metal and organic coatings applied to steel substrates. This report describes the 10-year performance at the different sites of three aluminium alloys and aluminium rivetted bimetallic couples.
