AbstractA previous report on thermal tests of Alfol Type II Improved Blanket insulation was prepared in November, 1951. This insulation was developed by Aluminum Insulation Limited in an attempt to overcome certain undesirable features of Alfol Insulations previously on the maret. Subsequent to these tests the design of this improved blanket was changed slightly to facilitate manufacturing. Samples of this final blanket design were submitted to the Division of Building Research in August, 1953, for similar tests to those conducted in 1951. This report deals with the results of tests conducted in the steady state wall panel test apparatus during the period October, 1953 to February, 1954.
