AbstractThe shading coefficient, U-value, and light transmission factors for reflective glazing units are compared with those for ordinary windows and heat absorbing windows with and without inside shades. The luminous efficacy of the daylight transmitted through the reflective glazing units is shown to be considerably higher than for artificial light sources.
