AbstractThe study of fire in buildings has been recognized by the Division of Building Research from the start of its work in 1947, as one of its prime responsibilities in view of the tragic loss of life and of property which occurs every year in Canada because of fires. The present report, which covers investigation carried out in 1955, is the seocnd of what is hoped will become a series of annual reports.
