AbstractThe transmission of water vapour through an organic film may be described rather simply by three processes: "condensation" or sorption at the vapour film interface; transfer through the film; and evaporation at the film surface exposed to the lower vapour pressure. The type of condensation and transfer process depend on the nature and structure of the film.
