AbstractThis report presents the experimental program and the results of a two-year investigationof the corrosion performance of carbon steel (ASTM A 615), a low-carbon chromiumsteel (ASTM A 1035/A 1035M-07) produced by MMFX Technologies Corp. and referredto as Cr steel in this report, stainless steels 316LN, 304LN and 2205 for use in reinforcedconcrete structures, with the emphasis on the performance of Cr steel. The investigationwas carried out in both concrete prisms and electrochemical cells and performed bydifferent electrochemical techniques including half-cell potential, linear polarizationresistance, potential dynamic, and AC impedance measurement.
