AbstractThe results are presented of controlled blastmg tests on six buildings on two different soils. Damage was correlated with size of charge and distance, and with displacement, velocity, acceleration, settlement, and strain measurements in the buildings. Peak velocity appears to provide the best correlation with damagefor all soil conditions.
