AbstractPortland cement pastes made at a water/cement ratio of 0.25 were precured at 4 deg. C for 3 to 15 hr and then cured in simulated seawater at -2.0 and 2 deg. C for ages up to 180 days. Compressive strength, morphology, rate of hydration and porosity of the pastes were determined and interrelationships were established.
