AbstractIn response to a request of the Food Research Institute of the Department of Agriculture a program was initiated to examine techniques for in-line micro­ wave cooking of wieners. This report describes two types of equipment developed for this purpose. The first unit described operates at a frequency of 2450 MHz and is powered by a 2.5-kW magnetron and the second unit operates at 915 MHz and is powered by a 1-kW magnetron.
