AbstractThis paper presents the results of experiments carried out on three simplified planing hulls with length to beam ratios of 2, 3, and 4. The first phase of the experiments was to compare the results of one model with previously published results. Once satisfactory agreement had been obtained, then the remaining models were tested for a range of speeds and loading conditions.
