AbstractThe seasonal variation in moisture content for several wood frame wall components is recorded for a building located near Halifax, Nova Scotia. Conclusions are drawn regarding the potential for deterioration, the beneficial effects of protecting wood from exposure to weathering elements and the importance of building detailing.
