AbstractThe antenna described in this report is proposed as a replacement for the two antennas, namely, the AS434/APA-69 and the AS436/APA-69, of the D/F system in the Argus and Neptune aircraft. The antenna consists of a stationary spiral antenna feed and a rotating parabolic cylinder. Satisfactory radiation patterns and VSWR of the antenna are obtained over the band of frequencies from 1000 mc/s to 10,000 mc/s.
