AbstractThis Note outlines the ways in which buildings can be designed to make them accessible to everyone. The general planning of pedestrian circulation facilities are presented as well as sections on stairs, doorways, ramps and facilities for emergency evacuation of buildings. It is not a design manual but rather an outline of general requirements.
