AbstractWhen the St. Lawrence Seaway and Power Project was undertaken, a number of buildings in the village of Aultsville were examined. This study includes a sketch of the history of building in the area, details of wall construction and of the materials used in the buildings examined, and some general conclusions regarding the durability of the masonry materials.
