AbstractA state-of-the-art review on the interaction of waves in ice covered waters is presented in this paper. Both experimental and theoretical aspects of the interaction of linear and nonlinear incident waves on continuous and pack ice are discussed. Wave energy dissipation processes are briefly mentioned.
