AbstractThis paper describes the philosophy and formulation of the simple and detailed procedures for wind loading of the NBC 1970. Predictions of dynamic drag response and cladding pressures are compared with full scale measurements on several tall buildings. It is concluded that the predictions of drag response and windward pressure are satisfactory. Areas requiring further definition are discussed.
