AbstractChanging public demand with respect to safety and other aspects of the performance of materials used in buildings is increasingly evident. It will be equitable and reasonable to the extent that it is based on understanding. Manufacturers and suppliers have an interest, therefore, in developing and promoting adequate and accurate knowledge of their products and the ways they can be used.
