AbstractThis short report describes the results of studies of density and water content variation of the soil around the Prince Charles School, London , Ontario on July 21, 1954. Observations of temperature have been made over several years to assist in establishing the heat losses to ground and the pattern of ground temperature under buildings with heated floors.The soil studies reported here were carried out to provide information necessary for establishing the thermal properties of the soil.
