AbstractThe objective of the present work is to obtain the reverberation time and the maximum background-noise level for classrooms for best speech intelligibility conditions. These will be derived by comparing the results provided by three speech intelligibility metrics, under the assumption of a diffuse sound field with ideal exponential decays.
