AbstractThe control of conditions within a space by means of air conditioning is accomplished by the manipulation of heated and cooled air streams. The interaction of these air streams with the space and the occupancy, as discussed in this Digest, determine what is possible in the control of the thermal and air-quality aspects of the environment.
