AbstractThe results are presented or controlled blasting tests on a total or six buildings on two different soils. Damage was corre lated, with size of charge and distance, and with displacement, velocity, accelera tion, settlement, and strain measurements in the buildings. Peak velocity appears to provide the best correlation with damage for all soil conditions.
