AbstractThe annual expenditure for repair and rehabilitation of concrete structures exceeds 50 percent of the total construction costs. It is expected that this trend will continue at least to the year 2000. The large market for repair materials and specialized techniques has driven the need for substantial research and development targeted at improved performance and extended service life. Issues include the development of new durable materials, repair material compatibility, and suitability of materials for specific environments.
