AbstractThis work was undertaken on behalf of the Canadian Government Specifications Board to evaluate a number of marine priming paint formulations to assist in the improvement of specification 1-GP-48. The first phase of this work covering the formulation of ten priming paints, the methods of test and the results of laboratory tests conducted on them was reported in DBR Report No. 63. The second phase of this work, the examination and rating of panels exposed at tidewater exposure sites at Shearwater, Nova Scotia, and Sayville, Long Island, N.Y., is now reported.
