AbstractA new orbit, based on a corrected period, is derived for this spectroscopic binary star from new and published radical velocities covering the period 1903-1973. Evidence for a possible change in period, the presence of a secondary spectrum and the existance of any possible spectroscopic peculiarities are each discussed in relation to the proposed identification of this star with the X-ray source 2U 0526-06.
