AbstractA radiation pattern evaluation has been carried out on the ALN2 HG antenna proposed for HMCS Ojibwa. The analysis shows that the effect of the Ademar and Radar masts on the radiation of the ALN2 antenna is small over the lower and upper portions of the HF band and that pattern degradation becomes significant in the mid-band frequencies between 8 mc/s and 20 mc/s.
