AbstractFrom the days when man first took shelter in caves and discovered the use of fire, there has been an increase in the design for more sophisticated control of the environment to live in. The prime function of any building is "to provide space wherein the environment can be different in some respect from the uncontrolled natural environment for at least some period of the year".
