AbstractOSFBEM is a time-domain panel method for analysing oscillating foil propulsors with both chordwise and spanwise flexibility and unsteady flow. It was originally written in Fortran and was translated to C between May and August 2000. This report details how the program works to find various hydrodynamic properties of the flapping foil and how the program was converted from Fortran into C.
