The NRC Publications Archive will now add digital object identifiers DOIs) to NRC corporate publications, presentations and unpublished reports as records for these items are submitted. The publication record in the NRC Publications Archive must include the full text. To request the addition of a DOI to existing records in the Archive, please contact Data Management and provide the NPArC number or the NRCC number for the publication.
Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are permanent identifiers used for citing and linking electronic publications. A DOI is used to identify an electronic publication uniquely and independently of its location. The DOI is unalterable and permanently linked to the publication itself and not to its location. More information on DOIs can be found at DataCite Canada.
